Thanks to Eccentric_Strategist for the test rubric!

The test is comprised of 2 duels. One with a pre-made deck mirror match of the testers choice and the other with personal decks.

In each duel the tester will purposely make 2-4 mistakes per duel. This is to test how much attention the tested player is paying to his opponent’s plays.

The first duel is primarily to test the skills of the duelist while the other is primarily to test their deck building skills.

Test Duel 1 (Pre-made Deck mirror test)

Pre-Made Deck picked by tester.

Pre-Made Deck:
Tester DuelingBook Name:
Player DuelingBook Name:
Duel Replay:

Sportsmanship: -20 to 20 points
Combo Proficiency: 0 to 40 points
Comeback Ability: 0 to 50 points
Adaptability to Overcome Obstacles: 0 to 50 points
Caught Tester’s Mistakes?: -10 to 20 points
Caught Their Own Mistakes?: -20 to 20 points (Automatic 20 points if no mistakes were made.)

Pre-Made Deck Test Total: -50 to 200 points

Test Duel 2 (Personal Deck)

Note: Consider the tier of the deck used. For example, a Cyberdark Dragon deck will likely not perform as well as a Spyral deck in our current format no matter how well the Cyberdark Dragon deck is designed. Be more strict on higher tier decks and less strict on lower tier decks.

Date added: December 24, 2017: Note: Players may choose to have a Classic style duel for the Master Rules 3 duel, or how I(James Skullblood) like to say it, before link monsters were added. If players choose this style of dueling, then you must be more strict with your judgement. This is mainly because link monsters are apart of the modern style of dueling and while we allow Classic style dueling in the academy, we prefer to use the modern style.
